THE STORY BEHIND TROPHIES
Trophies was originally created in 1985 by the parents of Travis Hancock (owner of Facade Games). Here’s the story as told by his dad:
"Early in our marriage we didn't have a lot of money for store-bought gifts at Christmas time but we wanted to give a gift to each of our siblings and their families. Since we each have a lot of siblings we needed to find a homemade gift that we could mass produce inexpensively. We had played different types of word games throughout our lives and thought that some kind of word game with printed letters representing the first letter of a word and categories might work. We printed cards with a letter of the alphabet on one side and a category on the other side. By showing a letter to a group and then reading the category off the back of a different card the game was always changing and it turned out to be a lot of fun for a family or group of friends. We called it the "Better Letter Game" and our copy hung around our game closet for years. We would pull it out every once in a while and play it again as a family. Our version was not very fancy but it did the job and provided some enjoyable group interaction and got the competitive juices flowing."

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. We have a 30-day exchange policy applicable to sealed products only, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request an exchange. You can receive store credit in lieu of original payment method within 14 days, or in lieu of a product exchange within 30 days.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, comic books, individual trading cards/collectible cards, or opened products. Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food and drinks) and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Money received to hold pre-ordered items is non-refundable. Half down is required to hold items which have been custom ordered or have not yet been released.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
