A whole new range of paints is available in store today!
Warhammer Tone Pro
The Warhammer Tone Pro range gives you more colour, coverage, and control than ever before. There are 30 colours with five tones each, from dark shadows to bright highlights, totalling 150 brand new paints formulated for intense saturation and beautiful, smooth finishes.
Warhammer Tech Pro Mediums
The new paints can be used for almost every painting technique – even glazing and shading, thanks to two new technical mediums. Blending Medium thins down your paint without losing any of its vibrant saturation, so you can create soft glazed blends between two colours, while the Shading Medium turns any Tone Pro paint into – you guessed it – a shade, seeking out the deepest recesses so you can give your miniatures depth and shadow with ease.
Warhammer Pro Tone Drybrushes
Drybrushing is a breeze with the new paints, and to help you get smooth, edge-catching coats over even the largest models. Four new drybrushes with rounded tips give even, balanced results for this technique.

The range features 30 colours, with five tones in each, giving you 150 new paints to add to your painting toolbox. The tones for each colour are numbered from 1 to 5, where 1 is the darkest and 5 is the lightest, and you have a really nice value shift between each tone. In most of the colours, 3 is the midtone, giving you two paints to highlight and two paints to shade with.

That doesn’t mean you have to use 3 as your base colour though. If you want to emulate how the ’Eavy Metal team paint the Ultramarines, you should start with Ultramar 2, shade with 1, and highlight with 3, 4, & 5.
The 1-5 system makes it really easy to navigate the colours, but you can also mix-and-match across the colours. For example Ultramar Blue could work with Blue Gorkshroom and Craventhrone Cloak to open up even more options.
