"I've been a fan of [Adventure Time] since it came out. I remember watching it when it premiered on Cartoon Network. I think I was 14 years old? It completely shaped my comics making career as well, the first comics I read (outside of manga and newspaper comics) were by people who worked on Adventure Time. Since the show ended, I didn't think I would ever have a chance to work on anything Adventure Time related, so this has been a bit of a dream come true.
I was in the tumblr trenches fighting for my life at 15 when the What Was Missing episode dropped and was a part of the Bubbline speculation in real time. I remember when Marceline's voice actor said they were ex girlfriends... I watched the Stakes series in college with my friends who also grew up with the show... again it is crazy to me that I have been given the opportunity to add to the canon of them being in love in every universe... favorite couple forever... an OTP dare I say…" - Caroline Cash, Writer and Artist
