Local Comic Shop Day® today announced a lineup of DC exclusives celebrating two of the most influential graphic novels ever published. Available through participating Local Comic Shop Day® retailers on Saturday, September 26, 2026, these editions offer fans a unique opportunity to add collectible versions of Watchmen and V for Vendetta to their libraries while supporting their local comic shop. Originally published in 1986, this year is the 40th anniversary of the Watchmen comics.

Each deluxe hardcover features an exclusive dust jacket showcasing artwork inspired by the acclaimed live-action or animated screen adaptations, along with a digital redemption code for the corresponding film. The Local Comic Shop Day® logo is incorporated into each dust jacket as a mark of these limited event editions.

These commemorative facsimiles feature exclusive variant covers created specifically for Local Comic Shop Day®, celebrating two landmark first issues that helped shape the modern comics medium.
