-We’ve said it before but it’s no less true now, when Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Batman:  The Killing Joke) launches a new project it’s worth reading.

-An anthology series at it’s heart, Cinema Purgatorio not only features a continual story from Alan Moore, but also from some of the industry’s top creative talent.

-The murderer’s row of writers on the series includes Garth Ennis (Preacher), Max Brooks (World War Z), Kieron Gillen (Darth Vader), and Christos Gage (Crossed:  Badlands).

-Alan Moore will also be re-teaming with Kevon O’Neil on this series, the artist that has worked with him on every League of Extraordinary Gentlemen story.

-Originally slated to come out through Heavy Metal Magazine, 3 Floyds Alpha King is now an Image Comics property!

-Written by Brian Azzarello (Dark Knight III, Wonder Woman, 100 Bullets), this miniseries is guaranteed to be unusual in all the right ways.

-Azzarello is joined by one of the industry’s most respected veteran artists, Simon Bisley!

-When a couple of suburban bros create a home brew so astounding, an otherworldly king crosses dimensions to posses it.  Things don’t go well.

-A modern day Robin Hood tale, but with far more cursing, violence, and debauchery.

-This new Image series will be written, drawn, colored, and completely overseen by Kaare Andrews (Iron Fist the Living Weapon, Spider-Man Reign).

-In a world where the rich have devoured an even greater amount of the public’s gross economy, Renato Jones is the hero who will make them pay.

-Expect crude, raunchy, and gruesome on the level of Kick-Ass!

The Punisher #1Punisher All New All Different

-A new era of The Punisher begins fresh off the heels of his successful appearance in the Daredevil Netflix series.

-New and old combine on creative duties as up-and-coming writer Becky Cloonan (Southern Cross, Gotham Academy), and veteran artist Steve Dillon (Preacher, Punisher) join forces.

-Frank goes on the road with this storyline, heading out on the hunt for a villain that causes him an emotional distress he hasn’t felt since his family died.

-The hunter becomes the hunted, however, as a dangerous gun-for-hire is sent after Frank.

Watchmen DC Deck Building GameEveryone’s worried about Who Watches the Watchmen, but the real question should be:  Who Plays the Watchmen?  A new Crossover Pack for the popular DC Deck Building Game, Watchmen adds six new playable characters from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s landmark miniseries to any base version of the game.  In addition to these new characters, the expansion also adds a new mechanic that generate suspicion within the gameplay.Carcassonne Over Hill and Dale

There are few products that have Neil Gaiman‘s name plastered on them that are not worth a look.  A Study in Emerald is definitely in the “worth a look” category!  Based off the award winning short story by Gaiman, the A Study in Emerald board game throws players into the author’s fictional world, one that combines Sherlock Holmes and H.P. Lovecraft.  The Old Ones have taken over the Earth, running it for centuries, but a dedicated few are inclined to resist and restore power to the people.  Players will control those “Restorationists” as they attempt to overturn the Old Ones’ rule with covert assassinations and attacks.  Whether you use dynamite or espionage, the Arena of the Planeswalkers Battle for Zendikargoal is to restore power to humankind.

Built out of the ruins of the popular Heroscape miniature battle game, Arena of the Planeswalkers takes the Magic the Gathering mythos and uses it to provide miniature characters based off of Magic cards that can be pitted against each other.  Battle for Zendikar is the first expansion for the base game, including entirely new Planewalkers, heroes, and squads, as well as a special battlefield scenario to play through.  Bringing that scenario to life is an additional gameboard expansion that can connect to the previous board.  Ob Nixilis and Kiora are the two featured Planeswalkers in this set.Eldritch Horror Under the Pyramids

Both a tile laying and card collection game, Lanterns the Harvest Festival will be the next easy-to-learn, but endlessly playable game you and your friends get addicted to.  In the game, players will be competing as artisans who are attempting to plan a beautiful lantern display on the palace lake.  Each player will take turns laying down tiles with assorted arrangements of different colored lanterns, attempting to connect a portion of the tile with another, matching tile.  By doing so, players will also earn lantern cards that can be collected to win the game.  For a limited time, anyone who purchases the game at Pulp Fiction will also receive a promo tile packet!
