So, *deep breath*, there is the It Binds All Things Force Pack for the Star Wars LCG, there is the Upstalk Data Pack for Netrunner, there is The Prize of the North Chapter Pack for the A Game of Thrones LCG, and The Three Trials for the Lord of the Rings LCG, all of which contain sixty new cards.
The popular and creatively named train game, Trains, gains its first pack map this weekend. Map Pack 1 (wow, who is naming these things?) contains a double-sided board, with one side featuring Germany and the other the Northeastern section of the United States. These now allow players to expand their railways into other countries.
Rio Grande Games also expands the clauses and addendums to the Last Will board game with the Getting Sacked expansion. Adding more obstacles to the already difficult process of attaining your late Uncle’s fortune, Getting Sacked requires players to find a way to lose their job as well as find a good, honest, money spending wife. Each expansion option is included in this one set, but you will need the base game to begin.
They may not run as smoothly as race cars, they may not take turns as well, and they may poop on the track, but elephants will get you where you need to go. Formula E is a variation on the popular Formula D racing game, but featuring pachyderms instead of cars. Players will lay down movement, obstacle, and other types of cards in order to move their ride around the track, blocking out other players in order to get ahead.
With a rules update comes a new version of the Warhammer 40K starter set. This weekend the Dark Vengeance starter box is out again, but with some updates. Still included are the templates, dice, and full armies for Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines, along with a condensed rulebook, but now with updates for the new rule set. The unique figure for this set, however, is Vrosh Tattersoul, and entirely new miniature for the Chaos Space Marines faction.
