Sidekick #1

-J. Michael Straczynski delivers his second Joe’s Comics imprint after the supernatural hit, Ten Grand!

-JMS focuses his story not around the traditional Superman allegory, but the oft forgotten boy sidekick.

-What happens when The Cowl, the world’s most prominent superhero, is assassinated?  Well, for one, Flyboy, The Cowl’s boy ward, begins to lose the public’s favor, eventually sending spiraling downward into insanity.

-Beginning in a golden age pastiche, Sidekick intends to dip deeper and deeper into the darkness of the superhero’s worst fears.

Pathfinder Goblins #1

-First they got mischievous in the roleplaying system.  Then they cackled from your desktop as a series of miniature figures.  Now, the goblins of Pathfinder are coming to the world of comics!

-This five issue miniseries is divided into two short stories per issue, each written and drawn by a duo of top creative talents!

-Authors of actual Paizo material have created stories for the series!

-Make sure to nab the ultra rare variant cover before the goblins, themselves, steal it out from under you!

Burn Down the Orphanage #1

-Sina Grace, creator of Li’l Depressed Boy, does a complete tonal 180 in his new series Burn the Orphanage, a cool, sleek revenge story.

-Rock lived in an orphanage his whole life…until it was destroyed.  Now, he’s out to find those who did it and beat the ever lovin’ hoohaw out of them!

-Part one of a three part trilogy of miniseries, Burn the Orphanage is the beginning of a long epic of fisticuffs.

-Oh, and the official description includes the phrase “topless stripper ninjas”.  So, yeah, there’s gonna be that.

Trillium #1

-From the writer of Justice League Dark, Animal Man, Sweet Tooth, Constantine, and The Underwater Welder, Jeff Lemire, comes an eight issue time travel love story to end all time traveling love stories!

-Trillium tells the tale of a scientist of the far flung future and an explore of the distant past, separated by thousands of years, but connected by love.  Or, at least, until their paradox affair begins to destroy the entire space time continuum.

-Lemire has won countless awards for his various independent series, each recognizing his talent both as a visual and narrative storyteller.  But, unlike his other projects,  Trillium has been burning in his subconscious for years.  Usually a sign something special is about to happen.

-Issue one is structured in an experimental layout, featuring a flip-book structure where one character’s story begins on one side and the other on the opposite, each meeting in the middle.
