Dave Matthews must have just been hired on as a game designer at Fantasy Flight, because the newest Netrunner LCG Data Pack is named The Spaces Between. The second expansion in the Lunar Cycle, The Spaces Between lives up to its name by exploring the limbo status of used up events and operations. What after effects do these cards have once they are discarded?
This weekend, the publisher is unleashing Class Decks for seven different class types, with each being capable of incorporation into the base Adventure Card Game. The seven class types presented are the Bard, Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard. Each deck contains 109 cards that apply to four different archetypes for each class and spells, allies, and weapons to be used with any of them.
Also out for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game this weekend are the first two card expansions for the Skull and Shackles adventure path. First up, the Character Add-On Deck, like with the base game, supplies three entirely new class types, including Witch, Alchemist, and Warpriest, as well as the cards to expand the game up to six players. Raiders of the Fever Sea is the second expansion, containing 110 cards that introduce five scenarios that progress the adventure, as well as adding loot, monster, location, villain, and ship cards.
While zombie-based content my vary from television to film to comics to board games, there is only one consistent option when you face them down: Run, Fight, or Die. This new board game changes up the growing subgenre of zombie survival board games by pitting each player (1-4) against their own undead horde. Players race around a special game board attempting to collect supplies and survivors while not being bitten or letting too many followers become zombified. Those who outlast the rest with the most life survive to fight another day, while those who don’t shamble away into the darkness.
The pun is so obvious it was only a matter of time before AEG released a Smash Up expansion that used it.
Monster Smash (yup, like monster mash) is the newest expansion for the popular card game where players blend together all sorts of different creatures and character types to form one absurd deck. Included in the expansion are four original factions, each with a movie monster theme to them. The four are Werewolves, Vampires, Mad Scientists, and, of course, Giant Ants. Monster Smash can be played as either a two player game or a four player game, if incorporated into the base Smash Up game.
Many Bothans died to bring you the Rebel Aces Star Wars X-Wing expansion.
Like the Imperial Aces expansion, this set comes with two ship miniatures, an alternate paint job A-Wing and B-Wing, along with four original pilot characters and all the standard maneuver cards, tokens, and upgrade cards. In addition, the set comes with a special mission suited to the skills of both ships.
