From Stefan Feld, the creator of Bruges and The Castles of Burgundy, comes Amerigo.

Using a similar randomizing tower to the one in Wallenstein, Amerigo has players dropping differently colored cubes into the tower.  Some cubes will remain inside, others will fall to the bottom, but each cube designates a specific action option for the players of the game.  Strategically using the actions available, players must mine for resources, fight off pirates, discover new lands, and more.

Space is endless, just as the battles that rage among its starry confines.

The popular Kickstarter deck-builder, Eminent Domain grows a little more with the Escalation expansion.  Altering the dynamics of the base game (which is necessary to play), Escalation adds enough role cards to include a fifth player, while also including a new technology as well as a way to play old ones differently.

In Russia Berserk plays you!

Berserk:  War of the Realms, a popular Russian deck-battling game has crossed the Atlantic.  This base set includes six thirty card decks, immediately ready for play, as well as over sixty extra cards for customization later.  Along with the base game, there is also Berserk:  Knights and Villains, both an expansion and a stand-alone game, that has players choosing a side (Knight or Villain) at the start of player, then requiring them to choose their forces for the oncoming battle.

Whether she can’na handle any more, cap’n, or not, Star Trek Attack Wing continues to add more ships to the fleet.  This weekend, both the Federation and Klingon fleets gain vehicles in the form of the USS Defiant and the IKS Koraga, respectively.

Wings of Glory gets Napoleonic with Sails of Glory.

Applying the same mechanics from the popular Wings of Glory fighter plane battle game, Sails of Glory pits ship against ship.  Each player selects special movement cards in secret, then plays them simultaneously with their opponent.  This mechanic causes each opponent to strategically assume where the other ship will be based on possible movement options.  Wind and other elements will also now affect your vehicles, lending the game more reality and difficulty.

The Bestiary grows ever larger!

Another addition to the Pathfinder Pawns line of miniatures and tokens, the Bestiary 3 Box is out this weekend.

The box comes equipped with over two hundred differently illustrated miniature pawns as well as a selection of differently sized bases to match.

Wasn’t happy with the ending to the Avengers vs. X-Men storyline?  Play it out yourself with the new Avengers and X-Men Vs. Heroclix starter sets.  These two individual sets, one X-Men, one Avengers, each contain the essentials for playing a head-to-head game of Heroclix, allowing you and your friend to pit Avenger against X-Man!

If zombie films have taught us anything, it’s that the undead never stop coming.  Steve Jackson takes this concept to heart with his extremely successful Zombie Dice game.  Releasing this weekend is the Zombie Dice Brain Case, a special dice container with a heavy-duty screw-on cap and a score pad to keep track of your brains.

Have at me, Spirit of the Century!

The famous FATE-centric RPG gained a dirigible’s worth of new product today, including a supplemental edition called Strange Tales of the Century, written and designed to appear like a classic pulp novel, but actually providing new material.  Three actual SotC novels were released, however, including Khan of Mars, King Khan, and Sally Slick and the Steel Syndicate.

Forget Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin.

Mage Wars is all about Druid vs. Necromancer!

This new two Mage expansion to the base game introduces forces of magic not originally included in the base game.

The Horn that Wakes becomes the most recently released Game of Thrones LCG Adventure Pack, including sixty cards that return to the Night’s Watch, Wildings, and North themes.

One of the hottest (pun intended) cooperative games on shelves right now, Flash Point:  Fire Rescue, is about to get a little hotter.  Excuse the lame burns (sorry!).

Anyway, Extreme Danger, the newest expansion for the game, adds two new levels, basement and attic, to extend the difficulty of the game, requiring that players climb further.  Also included in Extreme Danger are an entire set of unique miniatures which now are sculpted to represent each type of firefighter rather than having a single mold in different colors.

A new deception based card game, Coup (not coop), has players attempting to get their opponents to reveal their two secret identity cards, each laid out face down in front of them, throughout the game by using their own, hidden, special abilities.

After the release of Shadowrun fifth edition earlier this year, players have been clamoring for supplemental material.  No longer do you have to hack corporations to get it, either, because Shattered States, an introductory level adventure for beginner players, is on shelves this weekend.

Munchkin gets a double shot of new this weekend with two distinct booster pack expansions.  First up is Munchkin Gets Promoted, a collection of formerly impossible to find special edition promo cards from throughout Munchkin‘s history.  Second is a goblin-centric booster expansion for Munchkin Pathfinder, Gobsmacked.

Sixty beautifully illustrated cards, ready-made to expand the existing Dixit party-style games arrive in the form of Dixit Origins.

The train keeps a rollin’ all night long with Ticket to Ride‘s newest map expansion, Nederland!

Considering the country is littered with bridges (and accompanying tolls to use them), Nederland adds a distinct element to the game where players must pay tokens to access certain bridge pathways.  The second player to use one of these double bridges, then must pay back those tokens to the first player if they are to cross.

Finally, Mice and Mystics receives its first expansion in the form of Heart of Glorm.  This direct sequel to the original game adds new miniatures, cards, and especially chapters to continue the quest of the mice knights after they have defeated Vanestra.

All those chemistry classes you had to take in high school will finally pay off in Compounded!

Acting as lab managers, players work against the clock and their opponents to construct elements off of the periodic table.  But remember that your opponent may be looking for the same compounds you’re looking for.  Oh, and some of those can be rather flammable, capable of blowing you up if you don’t complete them in time.

Remember what the ancient monks always say:  Be the mechanic squirrel.

Or, at least, that’s what the monks within the FATE System RPG say.  The FATE System Toolkit book that released today with allow you to hack the rules of the game for your own nefarious purposes, especially when combined with the newly released Worlds books.  Worlds on Fire and Worlds in Shadow offer, between the two of them, twelve campaign settings, tailor-made to a number of different genres.

Fantasy Flight keeps the living card game market alive with two more releases in the Netrunner and The Lord of the Rings series.

As per usual, both decks come with sixty cards total, with the Second Thoughts Data Pack enhancing Corp and Runner decks while The Morgul Vale Adventure Pack provides an original scenario for players to work through.

As if the trailer park was not weird enough already, Terror in the Trailer Park adds a whole new layer of creepy to the cult hit Trailer Park Wars game.  Including purple “variable” flamingos and over one hundred cards to expand the base game in a horrifying way.

Dungeons and Dragons‘ second encounters adventure pack, Legacy of the Crystal Shard, is out this weekend.  An adventure for characters from first to third levels and compatible with 3.5. 4.0, and D&D Next systems.  The adventure can also be played as a weekly encounter campaign path, if you are so inclined.

Not by the hair on your chiny chin chin should you miss The Three Little Pigs board game.

From Iello, this family game comes packed in its very own storybook casing, with fanciful wonders held within.  A dice rolling game, The Three Little Pigs revolves around players rolling dice to acquire building materials.  And take a guess at what those are.  Yup, sticks, brick, and straw.  Build your house the tallest and most sturdy, and you win the game.

Keep it secret, keep it safe!  The new Lord of the Rings LCG expansion is out!

The Black Riders Saga Expansion contains three entirely original scenarios, each of which recreate epic moments from the Lord of the Rings novels.  Containing 165, this oversized expansion allows players to customize their cooperative experience, as they face off against Sauron and his evil minions.

Maybe the best named gaming expansion I have ever come across, Smash Up, the card game based around slamming together two random, monstrous factions to build a deck, releases The Obligatory Cthulhu expansion today!  The Elder Gods have blessed this set with four exclusive factions, including Cthulhu cultists and Elder Things, to add to your already demonic decks.

Okay, follow this.  A fake card game from inside a film now becomes a real card game based on the fake one.  Got it?

Romance of the Nine Empires is born from a fan film, premiered at Gen Con 2012 (The Gamers:  Hands of Fate), which featured this Magic-esque card game.  Within Nine Empires players struggle against one another and the environment of Countermay as they attempt to cure an ailing planet.  You decide the outcome of the world with you actions.  Will it survive?

In Bruges stars Colin Ferrel and Brendon Gleasson. . .no, wait, that’s the movie.

Bruges the game has nothing to do with Colin Ferrel, but it does have a lot to do with player interaction.  Created by Stefan Feld, Bruges pits influential members of the city against each other, each bidding to obtain the support the local population.  Once supporters are found, your goal will be to enforce the city’s safeguards, while gaining further influence within the town hall.

The Omega Protocol has been enacted!

Level 7 receives an entirely new, stand-alone edition in Omega Protocol.  Once again, genetic mutations have overrun Subterra Bravo and a well organized team of soldiers has been sent out to solve the problem.  One player will control the monsters, the rest will control the soldiers  Who will live?

The wait is over!  Fudge Dice are back!

These Fate or Fudge Dice from Centurion apply to all Fate and Fudge system games, designed and colored specially to match the Dresden Files, Atomic Robo, and Spirit of the Century.

We heard you like skulls so we put some skulls in on your Khorne so you can cranium while you brain-i-em.

That’s the basic idea behind the Khorne Lord of Skulls figure on sale tomorrow.  I mean, just look at that guy!  He’s a rolling tank made of skulls!  Joining the Lord of Skulls this weekend are is the sixth edition hardcover for Apocalypse as well as the Strategic Asset cards to accompany it.  Along with those guys are the other Apocalypse accessories (sized EXTRA large) including the dice cube and templates.  Three terrain pieces previously included only in the Wall of Martyrs box set release individually, Firestorm Redoubt, Vengeance Weapon Battery, and the Aquila Stronghold.  Along with four new Space Marines captains (Marches, Rites, Relics, and Lord Executioner) there is a gigantic Necron Tesseract Vault arriving, as well.

Have you been searching for a way to squeeze a wrench-wielding, mechanic squirrel into your monthly roleplaying game and coming up dry?  Well, the Fate Core System book is here to answer your nutty wishes.  This Fate Core softcover supplies the necessary rules template and information to run any story your mind desires.  Maybe you don’t have the time to set-up an entire world and characters, though.  Maybe you have to teach a new player quickly or create a game for those last minute guests.  Fate Accelerated is the answer.  A condensed, easy set-up version of the main system, Fate Accelerated is ready to go for time constrained gamers!

If you’ve gotten tired of your Star Wars X-Wing ships tooling around a plastic or wood shaded galaxy, Gale Force 9 is here to help.  Releasing two new oversized, vinyl playmats (both wet erasable) legal distinguishable (but intended) for Star Wars and Star Trek miniature play.  The first being a Deathstar-esque design and the other a generalized nebula, reminiscent of the climactic battle of Wrath of Khan.

Ed Greenwood’s Forgotten Realms hardcover is all the fluff with none of the rules.  And, in this case, that’s a great thing!  This special hardcover volume includes each and every realm and setting in from the classic Forgotten Realms editions, but entirely system-free.  That’s right, you can apply these environments to any and all roleplaying systems.  So, you better make sure your Paladin packs his bag of holding, ’cause he’s got a lot of traveling to do.

Not only what you will be snacking upon while playing it, but also a key component of the game and the title, Beer & Pretzels is a fantastic new party game for lushes.  Or maybe just people putting a few back.  Either way, this game is made for the inebriated as it is super easy to learn.  Players take turns throwing coasters onto a nearby table, earning “money” points based on the type of pretzel displayed or beer (which double your points).  That’s it.  Some drinking may also be involved, based on the group.

Already existing in a galaxy close, close next to you, the (finally here!) Edge of the Empire Core Rulebook!  This long awaited Star Wars RPG core hardcover has been “Shipping Soon” from Fantasy Flight for nearly half a year, keeping players waiting with baited bantha breath.  Well, now it’s here, in all its glory, along with the nifty Game Master’s Kit.  Yes, we know this came out last week, but due to lightspeed travel and store employee travel, this isn’t being posted until tonight.

Finally, tonight, the kingdom is expanding!

Kingdom Builder:  Crossroads is the most recent expansion for the mega-popular game, including four entirely original landscapes and two location spaces.  Both of these additions allow players to expand and grow the kingdom in entirely new ways!  Task cards are also included, which require that players build their kingdoms in a specific direction, adding a new layer of challenge to the game.
