Watchmen DC Deck Building GameEveryone’s worried about Who Watches the Watchmen, but the real question should be:  Who Plays the Watchmen?  A new Crossover Pack for the popular DC Deck Building Game, Watchmen adds six new playable characters from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s landmark miniseries to any base version of the game.  In addition to these new characters, the expansion also adds a new mechanic that generate suspicion within the gameplay.Carcassonne Over Hill and Dale

There are few products that have Neil Gaiman‘s name plastered on them that are not worth a look.  A Study in Emerald is definitely in the “worth a look” category!  Based off the award winning short story by Gaiman, the A Study in Emerald board game throws players into the author’s fictional world, one that combines Sherlock Holmes and H.P. Lovecraft.  The Old Ones have taken over the Earth, running it for centuries, but a dedicated few are inclined to resist and restore power to the people.  Players will control those “Restorationists” as they attempt to overturn the Old Ones’ rule with covert assassinations and attacks.  Whether you use dynamite or espionage, the Arena of the Planeswalkers Battle for Zendikargoal is to restore power to humankind.

Built out of the ruins of the popular Heroscape miniature battle game, Arena of the Planeswalkers takes the Magic the Gathering mythos and uses it to provide miniature characters based off of Magic cards that can be pitted against each other.  Battle for Zendikar is the first expansion for the base game, including entirely new Planewalkers, heroes, and squads, as well as a special battlefield scenario to play through.  Bringing that scenario to life is an additional gameboard expansion that can connect to the previous board.  Ob Nixilis and Kiora are the two featured Planeswalkers in this set.Eldritch Horror Under the Pyramids

Stop a fanatical cult from returning a Dark Pharaoh to power in 1920s Egypt in the new Eldritch Horror expansion, Under the Pyramids.  This expansion features an Egypt side board enabling invetigators to explore the nation’s bustling cities, barren deserts, and mysterious archaeological sites.  Eight intrepid new investigators join the struggle against the Ancient Ones, aided by invaluable Relics, powerful Glamour Spells, and legendary allies including the archaeologist Enoch Bowen and the illusionist Erich Lanterns the Harvest FestivalWeiss.

Both a tile laying and card collection game, Lanterns the Harvest Festival will be the next easy-to-learn, but endlessly playable game you and your friends get addicted to.  In the game, players will be competing as artisans who are attempting to plan a beautiful lantern display on the palace lake.  Each player will take turns laying down tiles with assorted arrangements of different colored lanterns, attempting to connect a portion of the tile with another, matching tile.  By doing so, players will also earn lantern cards that can be collected to win the game.  For a limited time, anyone who purchases the game at Pulp Fiction will also receive a promo tile packet!
