From Stefan Feld, the creator of Bruges and The Castles of Burgundy, comes Amerigo.

Using a similar randomizing tower to the one in Wallenstein, Amerigo has players dropping differently colored cubes into the tower.  Some cubes will remain inside, others will fall to the bottom, but each cube designates a specific action option for the players of the game.  Strategically using the actions available, players must mine for resources, fight off pirates, discover new lands, and more.

Welcome to Pulp’s Statue Symposium.  Today, you probably wouldn’t guess, but we’re discussing all statues.  Mostly because we’re getting in some gorgeous statues next week…..statues….statues.  Did you get that we’re talking about statues?

Enough about statues!  Onto statues.

First is the freshest Women of the DCU mini-bust offering, a new Harley Quinn sculpt.  Previously, there was a Harley sculpt that depicted her popping out of a Jack-in-the-Box, but this new sculpt has Harley innocently licking on a lollipop.  Her base is a spread of Joker playing cards, which looks rather nice.  What am I telling you this for, just look at the picture on the left.

Next up is the first villain in the impressive line of DC Dynamic statues that have been dropping like crazy this year.  The Dynamic statues are the ones that have famous characters like Batman, Green Lantern, and Superman shooting up out of detailed character-centric bases.  So, for this Sinestro statue, he’s rising ever-menacingly out of a cyclone of yellow energy.  A perfect contrast to the extremely popular Hal Jordan DC Dynamic statue from a couple of months back.

The hit parade continues with two new Ame-Comi PVC statues.  Again, this line of statues has produced some slickly redesigned versions of classic DC heroines and villainesses like Batgirl, Catwoman, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman.  Well, this week Raven and, Aquaman‘s wife, Mera join the PVC pack.  As always, these ladies are presented in an exaggerated Anime style.  That means bright colors and big eyes.  If you want vibrancy in your statue, then these are the ones you need to hunt down.

Last but not least (and I mean that in price), is the epic, awe-inducing, mind-blowing bookend Green Lantern versus Sinestro!  Falling into another statue series, this time Ultimate Showdowns, this two piece statue has Hal and Sinestro on two independent bases that can be joined or used as bookends.  Adding an extra bit of awesome, these two figures can swivel on their bases and their heads can turn in any direction you want, allowing you to choose the battle pose these characters will remain in.  As one other added bonus, if you have any of the other statue in this Ultimate Showdown series, you can join these bases with them.
