Uncanny X-Men Dice Masters Starter SetAfter WizKids left everyone desperately searching for the first Marvel Dice Masters Starter Set, they’ve made up for it (slightly) with the second Starter release.  Uncanny X-Men is the second complete Starter Set for the game, including materials for two players.  Those basic materials include forty-four dice (12 actions, 16 characters, and 16 sidekicks) as well as thirty-eight cards.  In addition to the Uncanny X-Men Starter Sets, the Uncanny X-Men Booster Packs were also released, with each pack containing two dice and cards.Guardians Chronicles

Iello, the makers of King of Tokyo, have released a new superhero board game this weekend called Guardians’ Chronicles.  Playing similarly to Last Night on Earth, two to five players control different superhero characters (represented by miniatures) on a randomly assembled game board.  One player, however, controls the evil Professor Skarov, whose stronghold is located in the middle of the game board.  Each character receives a finite amount of action cards to get them across the board and through the multiple minions that Skarov will throw at them.  Skarov’s own actions are based Say Bye to the Villainsoff of the amount used by players each round, so choose wisely.

From Seiji Kanai, the maker of Love Letter, comes a cooperative card game that will be manly enough for those who think Love Letter is too girly.  Say Bye to the Villains is inspired by seventies Kung-Fu films, like Enter the Dragon, and has three to eight players working together to secretly pass information between each other in order to defeat their vile nemesis.Revolution Anarchy expansion

Steve Jackson’s Revolution gains another expansion this weekend with Anarchy.  Primarily intended to grow the game’s player limit up to six, the expansion includes more bidding boards, board overlays, and other essentials.  As well, Anarchy alters how certain characters, including the Warden, Heretic, and Anarchist, interact, providing them new Munchkin Loot Letterabilities.

Munchkin and Love Letter mix together this weekend like peanut butter and jelly with Munchkin Loot Letter.  Another version of the popular card game, Loot Letter plays the same as all the previous versions of Love Letter, but features the artwork and characters from Steve Jackson‘s popular Munchkin card game.  As this is a Munchkin product, however, it comes with a promo card that can not be found in any other game and is compatible with any version of Munchkin.D&D Attack Wing

Following in the jet streams of Star Wars X-Wing, Star Trek Attack Wing, and Wings of Glory, Dungeons & Dragons Attack Wing is a ship-to-ship battle game that replaces the ships with dragons.  Set in the Forgotten Realms universe, the D&D Attack Wing Starter Set includes all the essential materials for two players to begin fighting their dragons.  Players control winged beasts and ground troops, all of which can be equipped with dragon, monster, heroic, equipment, arcane, or divine upgrades.  In addition to the Starter Set, other dragon and troop expansions are also on the shelves.  And if you have no interest in Attack Wing, but are an avid D&D player, then these miniatures are also usable in-game.
