While you may have gorged yourself on the requisite Thanksgiving feast, we hope you saved room for a special Black Friday follow-up meal, starting at 10am on Friday:

1. Forget canned, the several “doorbuster” items (specially marked down at half or lower price) are all natural.

2. Make sure to slather your half off on t-shirts and plush toys with gravy (pouring gravy on your new Black Friday purchases is not actually endorsed by Pulp Fiction).

3. Like those crispy onion strings on top of the green bean casserole, comic back issues in the back-issue bins will be buy-one-get-one-free.*

4. Don’t worry about deciding who gets to carve the Black Friday main course, everyone will get a piece of the buy-one-full-price-get-one-half-price offer for most of the rest of the store.**

Fine Print:
Discounts and specials don’t combine. Discounts and specials don’t apply to current comic issues, snack & drinks, or items priced less than a dollar.

*Free item applies to the lower priced item.
**Half-price applies to the lower priced item.

Fantasy Flight, much like The Khaleesi, continues to march forward with new Adventure Packs.  The Kingsguard is out today and is the third part of the Kingsroad cycle.  As per usual, the deck contains sixty original cards, many of which enhanced the game’s Shadow mechanic.

Piazo unleashed a near truckload of Pathfinder books this weekend, including the Bestiary 4 hardcover.  The rest of this mountain of books includes:

Pathfinder RPG: Reign of Winter Pawn Collection

Pathfinder RPG: Blood of the Moon
Pathfinder RPG: Seedy Tavern Flip-Mat
Pathfinder RPG: Dungeon Corridors Map Pack
Pathfinder RPG: Wrath of the Righteous Adventure Path 3: Demon’s Heresy
Pathfinder RPG: Towns of the Inner Sea

As well, the hotly anticipated second expansion pack for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, The Skinsaw Murders, also launched this weekend.  While supplies last, each purchase of The Skinsaw Murders receives a limited edition Blessing of Zarongel promo card.

Nearly a collector’s item before they even go on sale, the Magic the Gathering 2013 Commander Decks are in limited supply and desperately sought after.  These decks come pre-built for the Commander/EDH format, which are comprised of 100 cards (only one of each) and a general/commander card that is in charge of them.  A rising format in MtG, these Commander Decks allow you to catch up without have to hunt down tons of expensive cards.

Hopefully you’ve got some extra space in that airplane hanger in your backyard because Wings of Glory unleashes a full fleet of new plane miniatures.  Included within these three new planes is the much anticipated Mustangs.  For those technical junkies out there, here’s the official titles for each plane:

Wings of Glory WWII: Focke-Wulf FW-190 (German)
Wings of Glory WWII: P-51 Mustang (USA)
Wings of Glory WWII: Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Fujimoto)

The Walking Dead has pervaded nearly ever aspect of culture since it first showed up on AMC, and so it’s about dang time it received that final test of pop culture-dom:  a Risk game.  If you haven’t played Risk you’re obviously an alien, so it’s pretty easy to imagine how this version is an appropriation of Walking Dead‘s characters and locations by the regional warfare of Risk.

One of the best family games ever created, Carcassonne, receives two new additions this weekend.  First up, another version of the base game, set, however, during a harsh winter instead of the lush spring.  This Carcassonne Winter Edition also includes the Gingerbread expansion.  Along with this is another collection of previously released expansions, including the Count, King, and Robber.

Batman v.3 HC “Death of the Family”

-Scott Snyder’s second Batman arc since the beginning of the New 52 finally receives the deluxe hardcover treatment!

-After having his face cut off months ago, Joker has returned and he’s out for revenge against his archenemy.  Strategically striking at each member of the Bat-family, Joker slowly chips away at the unity of the group, testing their bonds.

-Snyder utilizes his skill for transferring horror to the comic page by having Greg Capullo illustrate some of the most creepy Joker moments you’ll ever read.  You’ll never look at cats the same way, trust me.

-The edition which releases this Wednesday is a limited print run which will not be orderable after it sells out, featuring a gatefold cover of the Clown Prince of Crime himself.

Adventure Time Fionna & Cake tpb

-Boys are so gross.  That’s why Fionna and her best lady pal, Cake, are here to punch you in the face-mouth with some algebraic action.

-The entire six issue series of this hit, hard-to-find Adventure Time spin-off is collected within the covers of this beautifully designed, packed-with-extras, trade paperback volume!

-You know it’s globbin’ for real, ’cause it’s written and illustrated by Fionna and Cake creator, Natasha Allegri!

-Far from simple Ice King fan fiction, this story will blow your mathematical mind!

And because last week had ALL the comics, here’s two Blast from the Past issues that you may have missed.

Secret Society #1

-Yes, this came out weeks ago!  However, many people skipped it thinking it would be unimportant.  Oh, how wrong.

-Billed as a story about The Outsider’s recently assembled Secret Society, the actual story focuses on the origins of The Outsider and his compatriots, Owlman and Talon, from Earth 3.

-If you’ve been reading Forever Evil, this issues is the most essential Villain’s Month issue for understanding what’s going on in the Forever Evil miniseries.

-Why is Nightwing important to the Crime Syndicate?  Why does The Outsider laugh?  How did Earth 3 get destroyed?  All these and questions you did even think to ask are answered in this one-shot.

Magic the Gathering: Theros #1

-IDW is at it again with an entirely new Magic the Gathering comic miniseries, based off of the mythological creatures of Theros.

-As always, this issue comes with a special promo card, only found with issue one of this series.

-After Dack Fayden has eliminated the Planeswalker who killed his family he’s back to thieving.  But his most recent acquisition comes with an unsuspected price:  a one-way trip to Theros!

-The High Tide promo included in this issue will, like other the previous promos, go up in value quickly, which means copies will disappear off the shelves fast!

You’ve crashed on a desert island and though there are no polar bears or smoke monsters, there are the elements of nature.

Robinson Crusoe:  Adventure on the Cursed Island has been racking up acclaim lately, and finally drops today for what will likely be a short period before they’re snatched up.  Within the game, players control shipwrecked individuals on a lone island.  They must fight against animals, weather, and each other to survive, building shelter and gathering resources to continue to live.  As you change the island you decided how the game plays out.  Just don’t look in that metal hatch.

Get ready for tomorrow’s Magic the Gathering Game Day and the incorporation of the most recent core set, 2014, by picking up the M14 Event Deck.

A red/blue deck, Rush of the Wild, like previous Event Decks, is intended for competitive tournament play, holding its own against home-brewed decks.  Also as usual, this deck comes with a number of sought after, high-dollar rare cards, including Mizzium Mortars and Stomping Ground, along with mid-range cards, like Savage Summoning and Ghor-Clan Rampager.

Grab the deck and come get some exclusive promo cards tomorrow at 7pm!
